Develops and posts weekly menus in accordance with federal and state funding guidelines.
Prepares nutritionally balanced meals following posted menus, using donated and purchased food.
Maintains production records of items and amounts of food used in compliance with Special Nutrition Program standards.
Serves meals, orders food and supplies, effectively using food banks and vendors to maximize economy and efficiency.
Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen in compliance with public health standards.
Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the pantries, freezers, refrigerators, stoves and all kitchen and staff food storage areas.
Receives, verifies, and properly stores donated and delivered items that are used for meal preparation.
Must be willing to work at additional locations when requested.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must possess a valid Texas driver's license and be able to drive during day and night hours.

Maintains a working knowledge of fire, safety, and health standards to assure a safe work environment for residents and staff.
Coordinate with other Victim Services staff and community service providers (case managers, counselors, law enforcement, medical professionals, etc.) to address immediate needs of residents.
Monitor shelter inventory and stock by assessing supplies needed for the shelter and reporting to Lead Resident Advocate/Coordinator.
Provides peer-to-peer training, support and guidance to new employees, volunteers and interns.
Supports and contributes to a collaborative and respectful work culture that promotes cooperation and teamwork to achieve program goals and objectives.
Performs basic administrative tasks, including filing incident report summaries, completing daily shift logs, answering phones, receiving and distribution of client mail, and assisting residents with basic needs.
Plan and facilitate activities for shelter residents including weekly house meetings, family enrichment, and shelter events.
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with staff and residents.
Adhere to agency policies and work rules, including strict adherence to confidentiality policies and code of ethics.
Attend and participate in all staff meetings, trainings, conferences, and meet regularly with supervisor to exchange pertinent information and receive supervision.

SUMMARY
Manages the cleanliness and upkeep of physical resources of the agency.

Cleans and maintains organization of shelter and administration storage areas.
Cleans and maintains organization of health clinic, staff lounge, staff bathrooms, linen closet, janitor's closet, offices, and household storage areas.
Accepts, sorts, and organizes designated items donated for shelter services, using them to routinely stock appropriate areas.
Cleans empty resident rooms, prepares them for new clients.
Works in conjunction with maintenance staff to maintain floor care throughout the shelter (i.e. Carpet and VCT tile).
Assists client services staff with monitoring chore completion.
Cleans residential common areas as assigned by supervisor.
Places all donations going to the thrift store in appropriate routing areas.

SUMMARY The Hotline Interventionist is responsible for providing trauma-informed crisis intervention, advocacy, information and referrals, safety planning, and emotional support to hotline callers seeking services at SafeHaven of Tarrant County. Responsible for assessing callers’ level of risk to determine eligibility for shelter admission or appropriate referrals. Maintains working relationships with community-based resources to enhance service delivery to all callers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following:
Provides immediate response to Crisis Hotline callers using empathetic listening, risk assessment, safety planning, and education to provide appropriate client-centered interventions to address callers’ immediate needs.
Maintains standards of conduct that are empowerment-based and nonjudgmental. Responds to all calls in a professional manner with a tone of calmness, sensitivity, empathy and nonjudgment.
Completes all administrative tasks as assigned on a timely basis, this includes, but is not limited to; documenting all activities, preparing monthly activity reports, and updating the Client Relationship Management System (CRMS).
Coordinates with Emergency Services staff on shelter availability, scheduling client arrivals and arranging special accommodations to prepare for callers approved for shelter.
Works with Resident Advocates to review, update, and share resources, techniques, and tools to improve service delivery and coordination of services.
Schedules or arranges transportation for incoming clients admitted to shelter.
Establishes and maintains open, professional, and healthy lines of communication with all Emergency and Residential Services staff to communicate pertinent and appropriate client related information to support survivors.
Maintains confidentiality of all communication regarding clients, agency and staff.
Supports and contributes to a collaborative and respectful work culture that promotes cooperation and team work to achieve program goals and objectives.
Maintains working knowledge of social services agencies and legal resources.
Contributes to quality services and professional development by staying informed of trends in the area of intimate partner violence, trauma and victimization.

SUMMARY:
Provides nurturing childcare and age-appropriate activities for children ages birth to 17 years in a residential setting. Activities are designed to promote social, developmental and emotional growth.

Job Profile: The Full-Time Bilingual Facilitator is responsible for co-facilitating a minimum of four Partner Abuse Intervention & Prevention (PAIP) groups in English and Spanish weekly. The facilitator will engage clients in the change process to adopt a non-abusive lifestyle by utilizing curriculum from the Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs (DAIP).
Details:
Co-facilitate a minimum of four 1.5- to- 2-hour PAIP group sessions weekly using the Domestic Abuse Intervention Program’s (DAIP) model of partner abuse intervention, “Creating a Process of Change for Men Who Batter.”
Of the four groups, at least two will consist of the Spanish-speaking men’s group and Spanish-speaking women’s groups.
Conduct Orientation and Intake sessions with Spanish-speaking male clients at least once a month.
Conduct Orientation and Intake sessions with Spanish-speaking female clients at least once a month.
Conduct Orientation and Intake Sessions with Spanish-speaking clients who identify as LGBTQIA as needed.
Generate and assist with accurately documenting and translating (Spanish to English) group facilitation notes on clients listed on roster within three days of a session.
Monitor and document client’s level of participation and communicate concerns about client’s accountability for abusive choices to program leadership, referral sources, and as applicable, the Domestic Violence High-Risk Team (DVHRT) hosted by SafeHaven.
Fax absences and tardy reports for clients within 24 hours of session.
Fax and email translated (Spanish to English) monthly reports to clients’ referral sources.
Complete state-mandated initial training in 25 hours of battering intervention, and 15 hours of family violence.
Maintain ongoing training on a 2-year-cycle of continuing education.
Attend staff supervision once every four weeks.
Attend DAIP’s annual “Creating a Process of Change for Men Who Batter” training, which covers the curriculum the program uses.
Attend DAIPs “Advanced Facilitation Series” annually after the first year of hire.
Acts as liaison and maintains professional relationship with referring agencies.

Maintains a working knowledge of fire, safety, and health standards to assure a safe work environment for residents and staff.
Coordinate with other Victim Services staff and community service providers (case managers, counselors, law enforcement, medical professionals, etc.) to address immediate needs of residents.
Monitor shelter inventory and stock by assessing supplies needed for the shelter and reporting to Lead Resident Advocate/Coordinator.

SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the children’s clinical counselor is to assess, plan, and provide direct counseling services/treatment to children that have witnessed domestic violence and their parent/caregiver who identify as victims of domestic violence. The children’s clinical counselor engages in safety planning, treatment planning, and provides an ongoing evaluation of the client meeting their counseling goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide individual counseling to children at agency service sites as assigned by the supervisor.
Provide parent support in an individual and group setting to parents/caregivers at agency service sites as assigned by the supervisor.
Provide short-term counseling services and applicable mental health resources.
Assess client needs and refer clients to appropriate agency programs and outside support services as needed.
Ensure intake assessments, outcome measures, and treatment plans are completed.
Provide specialized services as dictated by grants and client needs, such as, but not limited to, bilingual translation, community outreach, networking and life skills instruction.
Attend agency trainings and meetings as deemed necessary.
Participate in professional development to improve skills related to job assignment.
Complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely manner.
Works collaboratively with partner agencies to advocate for victim services and collaboratively work to resolve gaps in services, harmful practices, and other concerns as identified.
Work collaboratively with the Victim Services team to ensure cohesive service delivery to all recipients of services as they transition between programs within the agency.
Assists with delivery of client services as needed.
Maintain file documentation and data entry for effective service delivery and grant compliance. Assures accurate and timely collection of data and completion of required reports.

SUMMARY The Hotline Interventionist is responsible for providing trauma-informed crisis intervention, advocacy, information and referrals, safety planning, and emotional support to hotline callers seeking services at SafeHaven of Tarrant County. Responsible for assessing callers’ level of risk to determine eligibility for shelter admission or appropriate referrals. Maintains working relationships with community-based resources to enhance service delivery to all callers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following:

Coordinates with Emergency Services staff on shelter availability, scheduling client arrivals and arranging special accommodations to prepare for callers approved for shelter.
Works with Resident Advocates to review, update, and share resources, techniques, and tools to improve service delivery and coordination of services.
Schedules or arranges transportation for incoming clients admitted to shelter.
Establishes and maintains open, professional, and healthy lines of communication with all Emergency and Residential Services staff to communicate pertinent and appropriate client related information to support survivors.
Maintains confidentiality of all communication regarding clients, agency and staff.
